The Training and Placement Cell of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Adarsha Mahavidyalaya (PDUAM), Dalgaon, in collaboration with the Model Career Centre, Mangaldoi(Govt. of Assam) and the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, successfully organized its first-ever Campus Placement Drive on June 20 and 21, 2025.
Reputed recruiters such as Tusti Foundation and Universal Sompo General Insurance participated in the drive, offering career opportunities to enthusiastic students from various disciplines.
The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Ajitabh Barman, District Employment Officer, Darrang, and Sangeeta Boruah, Young Professional, Ministry of Labour and Employment, along with other distinguished guests.
The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Lakhi Prasad Hazarika, Principal of PDUAM, Dalgaon. Dr. Kumar Chandan Jyoti, Joint Coordinator of the Training and Placement Cell, successfully led and coordinated the two-day recruitment sessions.
The initiative creates a significant milestone in the college’s commitment towards empowering students with employment opportunities in the line of NEP – 2020.
