Department of Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry, established in September, 2017, is one of the eight departments of PDUAM, Dalgaon. Currently the department offers B.Sc. Major and B.Sc. general courses for undergraduate students under Gauhati University, Guwahati and also Higher Secondary courses (10+2) under AHSEC. The department comprises of well-equipped chemistry laboratories and a departmental library with lots of valuable chemistry books. The department offers a vibrant atmosphere to students and faculty to nurture the spirit of scientific inquiry in a highly encouraging environment. Efforts will be taken to start Post Graduate, various allied courses and to organize seminars, workshops, expert lectures etc. in near future to expose students to the latest developments across the globe for the greater benefit of the society and grassroots innovations.
